Hallur Ingolfsson is one of the most popular theater music artist in Iceland.  With more than 50 projects for theater, film and dance under his belt, and nominations to both theater and film awards we can say he is both experienced and versatile.

Hallur plays many instruments and puts more focus on mood and feel than surgical perfection.  Even though it is hard to put him down to any style he certainly has character and the ability to blend many different things together.

After spending his teenage years as a heavy metal drummer,  Hallur focused on more instruments and founded his own project, Thirteen, and has released 3 albums europewide under that name.  2 cd's that have been released of his music for contemporary dance have been nominated by music critics for album of the year. 

 

Hallur’s musical abilities combined with a strong sense of drama and humor, and a knack for coming up with the unexpected has made him one of the most sought after composer in theater arts, and has even landed him acting roles both on stage and broadcast.
